-> Select a keyword for which you want to optimize your page

-> Long tail keyword is recommended

-> Make this keyword the title of your page

-> Use this keyword in first paragraph of your page

-> Use this keyword frequently in your page’s body (no spam)

-> Use this keyword in <font size=3, <font size=4 or greater

-> Use this keyword in <b>, <u>, <i> and in different headings.

-> Use this keyword in alt tag of images and title tag of links.

-> This same keyword should be used in file name of your page.

-> Increase the relevancy of your article according to the title (search other articles on same title in Google and see which points are frequently discussed under that title)

Offsite SEO

1- Open the following bookmarking sites, register a free account and submit your page in proper categories.

> http://reddit.com/r/sports/submit

> http://www.subbmitt.com

> http://www.mixx.com/recent

> http://swik.net

> http://digg.com

2- Register a free account in following forums. Make some informative posts with proper anchor text link of your page in signature.

> http://www.dgrin.com/index.php

> http://forums.mozillazine.org/

> http://forums.digitalpoint.com/

Go to control panel (User CP) in forum and then go to signature. Edit your signature with keywords in anchor text of link. Note that this anchor text in link plays much important role in SEO. So always, care to use those selected keywords in text link, which were used in title of page.

Try to use different phrases with same keywords in backlinks texts.

For example, if title was filled with “webmaster programming” then use “website programming”, “Webmaster programming language”, “webmaster programming info” in backlinks texts.

How it works?

As told earlier, that offsite SEO depends on two main things. First backlinks from websites with similar topics. Second, Websites providing backlinks must have high pagerank value.

Your backlinks must not be tagged with nofollow. All the sites I have mentioned above to get backlinks are those, which fulfill most SEO requirements, for example

> These websites have high pagerank value

> Different categories with different topics to get backlink similar to your page’s topic

> None of these websites use nofollow tag.

Install Google toolbar with pagerank, and enable pagerank-checking option in it.

You will see each website has some value from 0 to 10 in pagerank bar.

Google assigns a value of 0 to 10 to each page. This value is counted through the number of pages connected to a page and again the pagerank value of those connected pages.

For example a page A is connected to 120 pages. Now the page rank of page A will depend on pagerank value of all 120 pages. More the pagerank value of those 120 pages, more he pagerank value of page A.

Coming to origin, the more high valued pages with similar topic (to your site) will be indexing your page’s link (backlinks) in them, the more SEO ranking your page will enjoy.

This is the only offsite key to SEO. Now two questions must arise in your mind. First, where to get backlinks and second what is the simplest example to follow.

The question “where to get backlink” will be later discussed in detail in these pages. Here I am posting the simplest way of SEO as I promised in early posts.

All search engines optimization strategies outside a website will be considered as offsite SEO.

Link building is one of most important offsite SEO strategies. Webmasters working in onsite SEO and thinking a lot about SEO are often confused why their efforts are not resulting in improvement in Google, must understand that linkbuilding is the major portion of Google SEO and no webpage can be ranked well without good number of backlinks.
